Fernando Alonso beats driving rain to win Malaysian Grand Prix

FALSE START ... Lewis Hamilton leads from the grid in the rain-affected Malaysian Grand Prix

Ferrari ace Alonso turned in a faultless performance at the rain-delayed race but was pushed all the way by Sauber's Sergio Perez, who also put in an impressive drive to finish second.
Lewis Hamilton had to settle for third once again after starting on pole position, but it was a miserable day for his team-mate Jenson Button, who finished down in 14th place.
A shower five minutes before the start threw all the teams into a panic as the decision on whether to stick or twist with their tyre choice.
As the temperatures plummeted and the thunder and lightning gathered over the grid, McLaren's two drivers opted to stick with their intermediates.
It proved to be a lucky gamble, as Hamilton made a fantastic start after last weekend's disappointment in Australia where he surrendered his lead to Button.

There was no repeat here as both drivers narrowly avoided a collision with each other as they turned into the tight turn one at full pelt.
But while the two Brits went safely through, Michael Schumacher, who started the race in third, had a difficult time.
He quickly surrendered his position to Lotus' Romain Grosjean, who jumped up from sixth, but then on the exit Schumacher regained his position.

However, the two drivers did clash on turn four when the German was clipped from behind and went spinning before dropping to the rear of the pack.
Grosjean managed to regain his composure but suffered more hard luck on the first lap. As the rain continued to hammer down, he was due to come into the pits to swap on to the wet tyres.

WAITING GAME ... Lewis Hamilton on the grid after the red flag stoppage

However, while his pit crew were getting his new tyres ready, he spun off as his lost traction on lap five and ended in the kitty litter without having made it back to the pits.
It was incredibly unfortunate for Grosjean, who had given another solid performance in qualifying.
As the conditions took another turn for the worst, Button decided to come in for the wets having seen Ferrari's Felipe Massa benefit from the new tyres.

PACE SETTER ... Fernando Alonso led from lap 16

Hamilton followed suit, despite lasting another lap on the intermediates, before the rain became too heavy.
Button complained on this team radio that circuit was becoming too dangerous and said: "The last sector is like a lake".
Two bolts of lightning and a rumble of thunder seemed to rattle the race stewards, who quickly sent out the safety car on lap eight.
But even under the safety car, the conditions were becoming too dangerous and at the end of lap nine the race was red flagged.

REARLY GOOD ... Sauber's Sergio Perez stormed home in second place

After a delay of 51 minutes, the race resumed under the safety car for four more laps before it returned to normal conditions.
But it proved to be a nightmare restart for McLaren. First, Hamilton had a slow pitstop as the mechanic struggled with the rear jack.
He was then forced to wait behind Massa as Perez and Alonso took advantage.
There was even worse news for Button on lap 15 as he collided with the HRT of Narain Karthikeyan on turn nine and lost his front wing.

TIGHT CORNER ... Jean-Eric Vergne of Scuderia Toro Rosso and Ferrari's Felipe Massa battle it out

To add insult to injury he suffered punctures in his front tyres which forced him to make another pitstop.
It was another slow pitstop from McLaren, which dropped the Australian GP winner down to 21st place.
While Button was struggling, Ferrari's Alonso was able to set about building his lead over Sauber's Perez.
The Mexican has been linked with replacing Massa at Ferrari at the end of the season and gave added weight to his reputation with a number of quick laps.

TYRE TROUBLE ... McLaren's Jenson Button

Massa was having a difficult time, despite using the team's new chassis, as he made a poor mistake that allowed Paul Di Resta through.
Button was clearly furious at seeing his chances of winning wiped out and he took out his frustration, as he started ruthlessly cutting his way through the pack.
He pulled a brilliant move on the beleaguered Massa before being granted his wish to switch to the medium compound slick tyres.

NOT FLAGGING ... Fernando Alonso crosses the line to win the Malaysian Grand Prix

But as Hamilton went in to make his stop for the slicks, a mechanic struggled to remove some sticky tape on his brake duct, which cost him even more time.
Perez continued to push Alonso to make for a thrilling final eight laps until he ran wide and gave his opponent more breathing space.
There was even more drama as reigning champion Sebastian Vettel suffered a puncture while he was in fourth place when he caught the front wing of Karthikeyan.
The subsequent pitstop and a KERS problem meant that he had to settle for 11th place.

Apple Media Event at Yerba Buena Center

Right, off we go ! Today i will speak about the launching of  the new iPad.

This is the third generation of iPad and in my opinion it's the biggest leap since the original iPad.

The new iPad will be powered up by a dualcore Apple A5x chip along the quad-core GPU and 1GB of RAM, which apple claims is much more powerful than an Xbox 360 / Playstation 3.

Tim Cook took the stage today and presented us with the new Apple TV but what we loved to see was the new iPad. As we expected the retina display took it's place into the iPad aswell with a 2048-by-1536-pixel resolution at 264 pixels per inch (ppi) which is supposed to be more crisp than a 40" HD TV .

What i think was odd , the iSight camera which was available only on the macbooks and imacs.
The iSight camera on the iPad is a 5 - megapixel camera with autofocus and video stabilization capable of capturing full 1080p 30fps videos, which is extraordinary for a tablet and i think it's the only tablet on the market which offers full 1080p record & playback.

The thing is, and it's logic if you think about it, they call it iSight because it's just a rear-camera, when the front-camera still remains as a Facetime camera.

Another expected and interesting thing is the 4G LTE capability that can perform way faster than a normal 3G network but unfortunately an LTE network is not available in most countries.

Now , lets see why they call it " The new iPad ", after all , in 6 months it won't be new at all, and you'll have to choose between an iPad and an iPad 2 ( as iPad 2 is still available ).

The thing is, as with the iPhone , they had naming issues. The first iphone was called simply iPhone, and the second generation was called iPhone 3G because it had 3G capabilities. Now with the iPhone 3gs they had to keep the numbering system because it was the 3rd generation , using iOS 3, so that the 4th generation using iOS 4 was named iPhone 4. Now you are probably wondering, why they named the next iPhone, iPhone 4S but i'll get to that soon enough.

If you recall the iPod never had a numbering system. It was always the iPod ( touch/nano/classic ), as the Macbook was always macbook, and iMac was always iMac.
So what they want to do ? Well they want to do that with the iPad and the iPhone as well, and now you understand why they named it iPhone 4S.
So the next iPhone will be simply iPhone, and the next iPad aswell.
How do we identify them when considering to buy from ebay? By year of production.

So to sum up we've got the new iPad available from the 16th of march at the same price the iPad 2 was last year. I hope you enjoyed my presentation and looking further to read my blog.
Thanks for reading.
